How Your Custom Laser Design Is Made

Every order starts with your idea – whether it’s a name, logo, quote or image; I’ll help you shape that into a design that works for the material and size you need.

Once approved, the design is laser-cut or engraved using high-spec RF Thunder Laser equipment for sharp detail and clean finishes. I check every piece by hand before it’s packed and posted.

I work with a range of materials — real wood, leatherette, laminates and external grade acrylic — each one chosen for its durability, finish and suitability to the design.

From single personalised items to bulk production for events or businesses, everything is made to order with care and precision.

I’m Peter — a former mental health nurse turned laser crafting artist. After 25 years supporting people through some of life’s toughest moments, I purchased my first laser as a creative outlet making things for family and friends between shifts; It quickly became something more!

Today, with Thunder Laser, market leading laser equipment I specialise in precision laser engraving on real wood, leatherette, laminates and acrylic. Whether it’s a personalised gift or business branding, I bring each idea to life with quality, care and attention to detail — and I still find the process just as calming and rewarding.

Sure; most of our items are unique and made to order to your specifications. Either use our design service or send us your own logo or text. Simply email us your ideas or artwork to pglasercraft.co.uk . 

Please send the highest resolution version of the image you have. You can send your image in any format. PDF will be the easiest way, SVG is the ideal file for clear laser images. We will advise you if the image is not of sufficient quality to reproduce

Certainly; If requested digital product reviews can be sent before production, to ensure your happy with the design/layout.

Super fast, usually with 1 – 3 working days between placing order & dispatch! However, actual delivery time depends on the postage option you choose and your location.

My standard postage, to provide a balance between cost and speed is Royal Mail 2nd class; which Royal Mail aim to deliver items within 2 to 3 working days incuding Saturdays. However, it can take longer.

There are options to upgrade postage to first class or next day. Nevertheless, please bear in mind that our items are custom made in the South of England so we try to be realistic with our delivery times, which are based on our real world delivery experiences, and designed to give you the necessary information to make an info choice when deciding your postage choice.

Leatherette; is a high-quality artificial leather with a smooth top surface, and has a base layer made from cotton or other natural fibres, which enables finely detailed laser images to be permanently cut into it.

Leatherette offers the look and feel of genuine leather, but at a fraction of the price. This richly textured, synthetic material is water resistant, easy to clean and durable enough for the rigors of daily use.

Leatherette/artificial leather has become an increasingly popular option, both for economic and environmental reasons.

Manufacturers are increasingly looking for eco-friendly solutions to address some of the animal and environmental and financial issues we are all facing today, these 100% PU leather labels are completely artificial and free from animal derivatives.
